Another year has passed and we at Vulkaza are thrilled to look back on all that we've accomplished over the past 12 months. We've made some exciting changes, including updating our logo, launching a marketplace for digital creators, and continuing to improve the user experience of our solutions. We're grateful to have shared these exciting months with all of you in 2022.
Vulkaza's marketplace helps digital creators bring their works of art to life and sell them globally through our network of 3D makers. The process is simple - you create and we take care of the rest, including manufacturing and shipping.
Here are a few milestones from 2022 that we're particularly proud of:
New Logo
We believe that change is good, and we’re always looking for ways to improve. So we decided to take some time to upgrade our logo from simple to 3D. We hope you like it! The new design is fresh and modern, we hope you love it as much as we do.
Launched a Marketplace for Digital Creators
This year, we launched a marketplace for digital Creators, which has been a big hit. This project has been in the works for a while. It all started with a closed beta in September and headed to an open beta in November.
Vulkaza's marketplace is a whole new method of online buying. How? We support independent Creators and enable them to create Products for an end customer. Once someone buys a Product on our webpage it will be made locally by Craftspeople in the end customer's neighborhood.
All our products are made using only Recycled and circular materials so that anyone can shop with good conscience. Step by step we are seeing an increase in traffic and sales, which shows that we are headed in the right direction. Don't want to miss the chance to express our gratitude to all the Creators and Makers who made it possible and who greatly assisted us!
Onboarded Digital Creators
The response rate and the number of Creators who wanted to join us on our closed BETA version and support our growth astounded us! Soon, we no longer needed to call out to them since the Creators were approaching us directly. Given that we have so many amazing and skilled Creators on our marketplace selling distinctive things, how else could it be that our marketplace is progressively becoming the go-to site for exceptional and distinctive 3D-printed goods.
Launched the Creator's Workshop
We've gone a long way from gDrive to several platforms to make it easier to gather all the information required to construct a profile when it comes to onboarding creators and creating their profiles. However, we just recently debuted the Creator's Workshop, which is the final iteration to make the process of setting up and managing our creators' products simpler. This method dramatically reduces the time and effort required to put up things on our platform. Creators may now easily get information on printing prices and printing times.
Increased Our Global Network of 3D Makers
We had planned to list every country where we have 3D makers before writing this, but as soon as we started making a list, we realized that this would be challenging because the number of 3D makers has increased dramatically! We're eager to continue growing our customer base and introducing the globe to our marketplace.
Updated Maker’s App
The process of upgrading the 3D makers app was ongoing throughout the year. Our 3D makers can now accept and complete jobs while sending status updates and pictures along the way, without needing follow-up from Vulkaza. This has made the process much easier for both Vulkaza and our 3D makers.
Growing Team
At Vulkaza, we take pride in having a talented and diverse team, and we've noticed a significant improvement in team power this year. From Norway, Lithuania, Algeria, and Indonesia, we currently have 8 team members. Not to mention how motivated each team member is, it's nice to have several cultures present.
Held a Christmas Contest
We held our first-ever Christmas contest this year, with amazing creators participating and creating some magnificent LED candle holders. It was a great way to get into the holiday spirit and celebrate the talent of our creators.
